New Zealand (Under dogs), fought at their best. McCullum's experience as a captain was just ok.

Watson's (silent killer) century proved it costly for New Zealand, as he took the game away to clinch the trophy. New Zealand had just the one chance to bounce back when aussies were 6/2.

Through professionalism and splendid performance by two teams, with New Zealand finishing Runner-up.
